Left behind!

It was a frenzy of activity here last night and this morning as some of the guys did some last minute tinkering and loading up of their Triumphs for todays Castle Combe track day. Karl is using today as a shakedown for his recently rebuilt engine so he's ready for proper racing tomorrow in the TSSC/TR Register race championship. He suffered crank problems last time out at Mallory with his GT6 so has spent the last week burning the midnight oil (literally!) in the workshop. All appears well now though and he celebrated by taking Darren out for a test drive and frightening session!
Darren is taking his TR7 after some last minute carb swapping in the workshop last night, apparantly he has found a Dan Dare helmet from somewhere, so he is raring to go. Darren's missus Karen has also threatened to take the TR out for a lap or two, fair play.
Mick may or may not be taking his PI estate depending on whether he sold it last week, no one seems to know?
I'm not going, someones got to open the shop, bugger! Mind you last time I went I came home on the back of a trailor after trashing my Vitesse engine, and the time before that I ruined a two week old set of new Uniroyals on my MK 1 PI saloon, so its probably for the best!
